MyBesu (my bright eyes speak up) is a practice lab where you get real reps in and build a habit of self-agency, at work and in life.
We're hosting a 4-week practice lab for a small group of women like you to get real reps negotiating in your own voice.

    The problem:

    There are plenty of places to learn about negotiation, but almost nowhere to actually practice it, especially in a safe environment.

    Are you her?

    You know what you want but you freeze, over-explain, or back down when it's time to ask. We get it, we were there, too. But we know that you’re a celestial being in academia, corporate culture, research, and beyond. Maybe you asked for a raise but then felt like you didn’t ask for enough.This is your runway to have more ease in these situations.

    Our format:

    What to expect:

    • Short warm-up

    • Live role-play & practice being the opponent

    • Debrief and share

    Weekly topics look like:

    • Asking for what you're worth (pay, raises, offers)

    • Pushing back without damaging the relationship

    • Handling "no," silence, and pressure

    • Setting boundaries around workload, time, and roles

    Outcome:

    You leave having said the hard sentences out loud, several times, in a way that sounds like you.

    Monday cohort: Nov 9, 16, 30, and Dec 7
    6–8 PM ET / 4–6 PM MT / 3–5 PM PT

    Tuesdays cohort: Nov 10, 17, Dec 1, and Dec 8
    12–2 PM ET / 10 AM–12 PM MT / 9–11 AM PT

    About MyBesu:

    MyBesu (my bright eyes speak up) started from a simple frustration: there are endless books and courses on negotiation, but almost nowhere for women to actually practice. So we built one, a warm, confidential space to get real reps speaking up, in your own voice.

    FAQs

    Do I need experience to participate?

    Not at all. MyBesu is for women at every level. If you've ever frozen, over-explained, or said yes when you meant no, you belong here. We start where you are.

    What actually happens in a session?

    Each 2-hour session has a short warm-up, a scenario for the week, and then live practice rounds in pairs or trios where you take turns playing yourself and the other side. We end with a group debrief on what felt authentic and what to try next.

    What if I miss a session?

    Life happens. You'll still have access to the prep sheet and practice prompt so you can keep up, but the live practice is where the real growth happens, so we ask that you plan to attend all four.

    Are sessions recorded?

    No. To keep the space confidential and safe for real practice, sessions are never recorded. What's shared in the room stays in the room.

    Is this a course or coaching?

    Neither. It's a practice lab. You won't sit through lectures, and you won't spend the time getting one-on-one advice. You'll get real reps saying the hard things out loud, with support.

    Why do I need to apply?

    Each cohort is small, 6–8 women, so we review every application to make sure it's a good fit for everyone in the room.

    Can my organization pay?

    Yes. We can send an invoice to your employer or department. Reach out after you apply.

    What's your refund policy?

    Full refund up to 7 days before your cohort starts. Closer than that, you can transfer to a future cohort or get a 50% refund. Not the right fit after your first session? Tell us within 24 hours for a full refund.

    Is MyBesu women-only?

    Yes. MyBesu is a space for women and those who identify as women.

    Can I join from outside the US?

    Not yet. For our founding cohorts, MyBesu is open to women living in the United States. We'd love to expand internationally in the future, so sign up for our newsletter below to hear when we do.
